Northfield United Methodist Church has a rich tradition of worship music!   Worship at Northfield UMC is enhanced by music from many traditions.  The NUMC band and singers, Adult Choir, organ and piano lead worship on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM with both new and tried and true music. Our handbell choir plays for worship once per month and other musical groups within the church bring music to worship throughout the year.NUMC Music Programming is open to all!

Meet our Directors

Randall (Randy) Ferguson directs the NUMC Choir.  Along with directing and singing, Randy plays classical and flamenco guitar. Choir for Adults and High School students rehearses in the choir room on Wednesday evenings 7-8:15

Kathy Szydlo is director of the NUMC Handbells. Not only a bell ringer, Kathy is a skilled clarinetist and music educator. Handbells rehearse in the sanctuary most Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7.

Wendy Smith leads the church band and vocalists.

Join Adult Choir!

All singers ages HS through adult are invited to be a part of the NUMC Adult Choir. The choir sings most Sundays during the school year.  Rehearsals are  held on Wednesday evenings 7:00- 8:15 PM. Contact Randall Ferguson for more information.
