A Palestinian Way of the Cross

You are invited to view MICAH's A Palestinian Way of the Cross exhibit in the Gathering Space at the south entry of Northfield UMC. This will be up until Holy Saturday, April 4th. Many Palestinian Christians refer to their experiences of living under occupation, and the suffering they endure, as "Walking the Via Dolorosa" or the Way of the Cross. 

Reflections: From Jesse Steed 

It was 26 years ago that I was in Jerusalem. I used to walk or take a sherut (taxi) from the Hebrew University on Mount Scopus down to the Damascus Gate of the old city. Roaming the historic streets with all the sights and sounds (and smells) was inspirational. I highly recommend spending time with The Way of the Cross, or any stations of the cross experience. Focus on immersing yourself in the history, the experience of Christ, and the call on your heart today personally and communally. You may be surprised at the results.
