MICAH - With Gratitude

With gratitude:

Because of a generous NUMC donor, the MICAH Team was able to make donations to the following UMC Advance projects in Palestine: 

1. Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees. $1,000

This is the relief arm of the Middle East Council of Churches, and they're doing amazing work in Gaza and also in the West Bank. 

2. Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre for Children with Disabilities. $ 1,000 

They do great work both at their main Jerusalem Campus and also in Gaza. 

3. Shepherd Society is the outreach arm of the Bethlehem Bible College. $1,000 

They provide meals and other support to impoverished individuals and families in the Bethlehem area. 

Giving to a UMC Advance project means that all the donation goes directly to the project. 

Happy Birthday, Nour! 

The daughter in our Bethlehem family, Nour, will be turning 15 on February 21st. Nour enjoys writing, music, and reading. Her favorite school subjects are science and history.

Thank you to everyone who loaned a nativity set for the display of about 20 sets during Advent.
