ISAIAH : Faith in Democracy

Isaiah and Faith in Minnesota (FIMN ) have been very active and involved in working for human dignity and justice at this critical time in our state and country's history. We are working to build enough power to be a moral witness to move the heart of our nation and provide a model to others on how to stay free. There have been a number of trainings and opportunities for to stand against fear and intimidation, in particular to our immigrant community .

On Dec. 13th, over 5,000 people from around the state gathered at the LIGHT IN THE STORM event to learn and discuss what is called the People's Agenda. These are priorities that ensure health care, housing, child care and basic needs get necessary funding. We heard from individuals and organizations who have been significantly negatively impacted by funding and policy decisions, particularly at the federal level, and how we can join together to work for change.

ACTIONS to take:

• Stay informed about what is happening in Northfield.

• Support the CAC as they are experiencing increased demand for services.

• Contact your legislators to replace funding for monies that have been cut.

• Attend the Feb. 3rd caucus meetings where you can voice support to delegates and resolutions that support dignity and care for all.

This website will tell you where your caucus will be held. caucusfinder.sos.mn.gov It is our time to claim the Darkness cannot cancel Light. As always, I'm available for questions. - Mary Lynn Oglesbee
