Mission Sewing

Mission Sewing is working hard to meet their goal of having 30 quilts done by early December to donate to Operation Joy.

In February we packed 2 large boxes that will be brought to Midwest Mission Distribution Center.

A big thank you to Peg Jones who made 85 hats and 7 scarves that were donated to Operation Joy.

On November 19th, Mission Sewing presented Pastor Jerad with a Happy Hearts Quilt to be given to the Refugee Resettlement Project.

Mission Sewing is making shorts and tank tops for boys to be given to the Midwest Mission Distribution Center.

Mission Sewing is busy getting quilts finished so we will be able to donate 30 quilts to Operation Joy.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, January 25th, to tie quilts. We meet at 9AM in Room 120.

We are sewing items for Midwest Distribution Center: diapers, receiving blankets, and layette jackets.
