3:00 CROP Walk

2017 CROP Walk is set for Sunday, October 29th, 3:00 pm starting at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church and ending at Bridge Square. Church World Service is the sponsoring organization for our annual CROP Walk, the largest ecumenical event in Northfield. Money raised goes to disaster relief programs, refugee settlement, education and training to build food sustainability for individuals and communities. Our local Community Action Center will receive part of the funds raised. The importance of the walk is to be a visible reminder that not all are food secure, to engage our family and friends, and that a one day event can make a difference. This is a kid and dog friendly event. Watch for details about our new hair coloring contest.
