The Northfield Area Churches are planning our annual Ski/Snowboard trip to Welch Village on Saturday, January 16th. This trip is for all middle school and senior high youth (and parents and friends!). As in the past, we'll be joined by youth from other Northfield area churches. We will meet at Bethel Lutheran Church at 2:30pm, and depart from there by bus as soon as everyone is checked in and the buses are loaded. We will be on the slopes well into the evening, and return to Bethel by 11:00pm.
Schedule:
2:30pm - Meet at Bethel
2:30pm - Depart for Welch Village
3:30 - 6:00pm - ON THE SLOPES
6:00 - 6:30pm - Dinner break
6:30 - 8:00pm - ON THE SLOPES
8:00 - 8:30pm - Check-in & snack
8:30 - 9:45pm - ON THE SLOPES
10:00pm - Final check-in
11:00pm - Return to Bethel
Costs per person will be as follows (includes busing, food, & snacks):
Lift pass - $20
Rental (skis or snowboard) - $15
A few last details:
* Snacks, hot dogs, sloppy joes, and soda will be provided. Participants may bring money for any miscellaneous extras they choose to purchase.
* PARENTS - we will need some parents to chaperone. Please contact me if you are able to help with this.
* Avoid bringing anything of great value.
If you are interested in this event, please make sure you have a completed Health Form on file at the church (available to download here), and send me an email letting me know you are planning to attend and how many people you are bringing.
