EngAging Ministries Service Trip

March 31 – April 5, 2014

We currently have 19 adults (age 50+) signed up to participate in our EngAging Ministries Service Trip to the Midwest Mission Distribution Center near Springfield, IL.  We will be leaving on Monday, March 31^st and returning on Saturday, April 5^th.   The Midwest Mission Distribution Center is a part of the UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) distribution network.  During the week our group will be assembling health, sewing and school kits and flood buckets, helping with sewing and woodworking projects and with any other tasks that need to be done.  Eight members of the team will serve lunch one day at a local soup kitchen, and we will all spend one afternoon touring the Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in downtown Springfield.  If you would like more information about the trip, or about ways you can encourage and support our team, please speak with Pastor Donna.
