The Nakba
“What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.” - Micah 6:8
To understand the root causes of the unrest in the Holy Land come to this event:
NAKBA - Remembering Palestine's 1948 Disaster and Mothers March - Walking in Solidarity
SATURDAY MAY 11 ,2024
1:00 pm BRIDGE SQUARE
The Nakba is the expulsion of over 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and land, and the destruction of Palestinian society during the creation of the State of Israel – a destruction that continues today – an ongoing Nakba.
The Palestinian Nakba (catastrophe) of 1948 has been called the poisonous root of all that has plagued the Holy Land since that time, with a never-ending impact that pervades the Middle East and the entire world.
