ISAIAH - Faith in Democracy
“In a time of great division and uncertainty in our national and state politics, it can be tempting to dwell on the barriers in front of us — fear, opposition, injustice. Yet, we are reminded by Paul’s words to the Philippians that our faith is a call to move forward, to press on. Not merely for ourselves, but toward a vision of collective flourishing, where every person has the opportunity to thrive. As people of faith committed to social and racial justice, we understand that advancing God’s Kingdom on earth requires perseverance, determination, and hope. It means navigating moments of unpredictability, but continuing to do what we do best: organize. Every step we take brings us closer to a more just and inclusive society where love, equity, and care for our neighbors prevail.We are called to build a future where the dignity of every person is respected, where our communities are cared for, and where the barriers to full participation in God’s Kingdom are dismantled."

In Minnesota, we believe in building a state where all of our families, no matter our race, zip code or gender, have what they need to thrive. But right now, wealthy corporations aren’t paying what they owe, forcing us to make tough choices while those at the top get richer and richer. Join others in ISAIAH on February 18th, 3:30-5 pm, in the Minnesota Capitol Rotunda for the We Make MN Fund Our Futures Rally to make sure our elected officials know that Minnesotans expect them to step up for working families and fund our futures — especially in the face of a new federal administration. Let’s show that Minnesota is a true North Star and model for the country through our bold leadership in building a state where all of our families, no matter our race, zip code or gender, have what they need to thrive!
