Five million people in America are living with Alzheimer’s Dis-ease, and most of us know someone with Alzheimer’s Disease. So what is Alzheimer’s disease? How is it different from demen-tia? What are the warning signs? How does it affect the brain? What are the stages of the disease? What kinds of treat-ment are available? What hope is there for the future?
To help answer these questions we have invited Deborah Rich-man, Director of Education and Outreach for the Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota-North Dakota, to be with us for two Sunday morning Adult Forums.
In this second forum Deborah returns to engage in a question and answer session with us. And as part of this discussion she will also talk with us about how we can more effectively com-municate with people who have Alzheimer’s, and how we, as a church family, can be more supportive of them and of their pri-mary caregivers.
